So being in a Human Development course, we learn a lot about relationships and families and lately I’ve  been thinking about my own future family a lot. In the class we talk about relationships gone wrong, parents falling apart, kids in broken homes, etc. and I started wondering how I would be able to tell my future children how much they were loved and wanted from the day I found out they existed. Idea: pregnancy journal. Documenting the first kick, the first ultrasound visit, pictures, name ideas. I would basically be writing to my future child while they are still in utero. 

Is it weird that I’m thinking about this all? Being an early education major sucks sometimes because I’m constantly being reminded about a life I want to have…a life I’ll someday have…way far away…in the future…
